Sorry bro, that sucks that you're having some probs with windows.
I'm not really the computer genius but I'll ask around if anybody has any tips or tricks.

Well, I bit the bullet, and upgraded to Win 98.  I'm having SERIOUS problems in it regarding DirectX 6.1.  That includes Quake 2 and Descent 3.  So, if you THUGS have any tips and tricks on what I should do, give me a holler.  I'm usually in kali.

Hope this doesn't affect my participation in the war.
